Recast (1.72)

Recast (1.72) is a plugin that displays all of your Ability and Spell cool-down timers (when you can recast), letting you know when they will be ready again.

This plugin supports Blood Pact timers too, effectively eliminating the need for the older plugin called BloodPace.

Recast (1.72) can be loaded by opening your Windower console and typing load recast. No further actions are required to make the plugin work for you. Since Recast (1.72) is auto-load friendly, you may add the load recast command to your init.txt file located in the scripts folder inside of your Windower folder.

You can edit the configuration settings for Recast by modifying the file plugins\recast.ini.

If your recast window blocks your ingame menus, it may be necessary to adjust the X and Y values. Set these values to the number of pixels from the top left corner of the ffxi window.

The background of the recast window can be turned on or off by setting the Visible option to 1 or 0. The transparency level is set with Alpha with a range of 0 (invisible) to 255 (opaque). The range of the Red, Green, and Blue values is 0 to 255.

The font, size, color, and weight can be set here. The range for the colors is 0 to 255, just like the background colors.

Setting ShowTwoHour to 0 will stop the display of your 2 hour on Recast.

Setting ShowIndex to 1 will show an index # beside abilities and spells for things. Giving us this number and what the text SHOULD be will assist us in fixing incorrect data from being displayed. If an ability is coming up wrong, please turn on ShowIndex and pm the information to Aikar on the forums.
