Windower is a 3rd party program for Final Fantasy 11 that enables the game to run in a windowed state, and keeps the game from crashing when a user tries to change window.
In version 3.0, The ability to use plugins with Windower and a scripting language was added, giving the game UI enhancements alongside other things. The users started to adapt to using Windower Scripts as a form of macros, enabling them to use unlimited lines for gear changing.
Things are evolving, and Windower 3.3 has brought new Plugin API to the application, allowing the creation of even more advanced and useful plugins to the game!
Windower is a project that strives to bring many positive enhancements to the game. Windower is not attempting to hurt any other players' gaming experience. Our goal is to make the game more enjoyable and enhanced in the areas that the PS2 is holding the game back.
