What is SpellCast Lite
SpellCast Lite is for the mages. It is designed to get around SE's tedium of typing commands instead of using macros.
SpellCast Lite will let you type 'more simple' spell commands, where you don't need <t>, you don't need ” ” around double word spells, you don't need to use roman numerals, you dont need spaces (except between target).
All of the following are valid commands to type:
- /ma Thunder 4
- /ma Thunder3
- /ma Cure3
- /ma Cure III
- /ma Cure 3 Aikar
- /ma Raise3 Billy
- /ws Tachi: Gekko
- /ws Tachi Kasha
- /ja Elemental Seal <me>
- /ja DivineSeal
SpellCastLite also enables windower aliases for all spells, the following are valid
- //thunder4
- //raise3
- //protectra4
- //cure3
- //carnage elegy
- //utsusemiichi
SpellCastLite has minimal gear changing assistance, as it will execute Windower scripts.
On cast of Spells, Windower/scripts/scl/<mainjob>/<subjob>/<skill>_<type>_<element>.txt will be executed
So, if you cast paralyze as a Redmage, Windower/scripts/scl/rdm/blm/enfeeblingmagic_whitemagic_ice.txt will be executed.
If that file is not found, it will try Windower/scripts/scl/<mainjob>/<skill>_<type>_<element>.txt.
After those 2 checks are made, another file will be executed based on spell name:
Windower/scripts/scl/<mainjob>/<subjob>/<spellname>.txt
If that file does not exists, it will try
Windower/scripts/scl/<mainjob>/<spellname>.txt

Configuration
No configuration is needed. Just drop it in the plugins directory and load it.
Usage
Makes the casting of spells much more simple. SpellCastLite will automatically correct the format for you. Enjoy quickly typing your spells and abilities!
